From 8 March to 19 April 2023, the community was invited to share experiences and contributions to inform the Strategy through a survey and response to a discussion paper.

Roundtable discussions

In November and December 2022, the Office for Women undertook a series of targeted consultations to inform the development of the strategy. These roundtable discussions involved a range of stakeholders, including:

Roundtable participants were asked to consider:

  • the drivers of gender inequality
  • the barriers preventing progress on achieving gender equality
  • what opportunities exist to make progress on achieving gender equality
  • what success looks like.
